System Designer

We are looking for a detail-oriented System Designer to create a challenging but fun experience for mobile games. This position will focus on mainly the technical aspects of the game such as balancing, number crunching, and creating the backbone structure for each type of gameplay. The ideal candidate will be able to translate numbers into player experience, turn flowcharts into actual gameplay, and be a great team player.

Responsibilities

  • Iterate, polish and balance player progression and experience
  • Tuning and balancing of game data
  • In charge of the growth system and combat system

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ game system design experience or equivalent in the gaming
    industry
  • Strong understanding of stat curves, player progression systems, and gameplay loops
  • Expert-level knowledge of spreadsheets and formulas
  • Ability to identify, break down, and define core mechanics
  • Expert-level knowledge of systems design, economic modeling, and game tuning for
    F2P games.
  • Experience working with Unity Engine
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to absorb feedback and filter out what is good for the game

  • Experience in idle games
